Most of you may know that it is possible to use Windows 7 and Vista without activation for 120 days. It is indeed possible to use slmgr-rearm command which will extend the grace period of 30 days to 120 days. But in this post, I'll show you a little trick to use because it is possible to use Windows without activation 7 for about a year! Here's one way to do it.

First Go to "Start Menu -> Programs -> Accessories". Right click "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator". If you are not a manager so that you will be prompted for a password, otherwise go to Step-2.

Now the second, type the following command and press Enter

slmgr-arm

3rd You will be prompted to restart your computer. When the trial period will be restarted once again reset to 30 days. You can use the above for up to 3 times that you can extend the trial period of 120 days without activation.

4th Now comes the real trick that you can extend the trial period for another 240 days. Open the registry editor (type regedit in the "Run" and press Enter) and navigate to the following location

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Software Protection Platform

5. In the right pane, change the value 1 SkipRearm

6. Now you will be able to use the slmgr-rearm for another 8 times so you can skip the activation process for another 240 days. So you get 120 + 240 = 360 days without the use of Windows 7.
